Don’t Make Me Work on a Holiday

Having your relatives harp on you for details about your love life or school is bad enough as is. When they start asking for a performance, things can get really bad. People work 5 days out of the week, please let’s give them the weekend and holidays off. Just because they’re a comedian, singer, or musician shouldn’t entitle the family to a performance. 

If they feel so inclined we’re sure they’d love to treat everyone to a little show. But unless they offer, it’s better to keep the request to yourself. Let’s be real though, how many of us actually have stand-up comedians at our Thanksgiving table?
