And that’s a good thing, too, because the animators who spent hours and hours creating that work of art deserve to have their little in-jokes and Easter eggs noticed.

In this case, fans took note of the little Sultan hat Iago got once Jafar became the Sultan at the end of Aladdin.

Perhaps the animators were trying to imply that Iago got some sort of authority as well?
