The stunning and talented actress, Michelle Pfeiffer gave up a once in a lifetime role of Claris Starling, a top brilliant student at the FBI’s training academy. Her relationship with Dr.Hannibal Lecter, played by Anthony Hopkins still put fear in our heart to this very day. Judie Foster did everything she possibly can to get this role, and she eventually got it. Michelle was the director Jonathan Demme choice but she declined it. Why? Apparently, she thought the movie was way too violent, and she’s got a point, but she played in some blood shading movies so it’s confusing. Not to mention Judy and Antony received an Oscar for their performance in this movie so maybe there’s art in this violent thriller?
