Who can play an egomaniac better than Matthew McCaughey? Apparently, Kurt Russel after Matthew declined the offer. He revealed in an interview he was offered a role in the movie and claimed he actually loved it but felt the role wasn’t right, and also he had committed to the Stephen King “The Dark Tower” production. Matthew didn’t reveal which role he was offered in the franchise, but they are reports it’s the part of Ego, the villain Kurt Russel ended up playing so brilliantly. Who can turn down a Marvel movie?
