Facts We May Not Know About Chernobyl Disaster
Chernobyl Today
Today, Chernobyl is actually very stable. After the completion of the New Safe Confinement structure, the plant is a little safer to visit. Wildlife has been thriving as well, and efforts to contain the meltdown have been going smoothly over the past 33 years. Chernobyl has been the subject of many fantastic documentaries and shows, and hopefully all the lessons we learned from the incident will help make future nuclear decisions much, much easier.

It may not be the most welcoming place to go, but if we ever get a chance, we’re sure we won’t hesitate to show up. While no one’s sure if it will ever be the same again, one thing is for sure: Chernobyl will go down in history as one of the most interesting, tragic, and deadliest places on the face of the planet.
