Chernobyl was one of the biggest man-made disasters in the history of the world, reported to have been more radioactive than the atomic bomb dropped on the city of Hiroshima. Earlier this year, HBO released a miniseries detailing the events of the Chernobyl disaster. While short, the series manages to detail some of the most important pieces leading up to the event. But because this is a TV show, there are bound to be some exaggerations here and there as well as a bunch of well-guarded secrets.
