Each State Perfectly Described by one Photo

45. Colorado: The Mile High Club

Another state that has been stereotyped for its legalization of marijuana is Colorado. Along with Washington state, the two states were the first to legalize recreational use of marijuana back in 2012.

Colorado’s terrain is defined by the Rocky Mountains. Their high elevation gives Denver, Colorado’s capital city, it’s nickname of “The Mile High City”.

As you can imagine, the combination of high elevation and the legalization marijuana make it far too easy for internet trolls to further push the stereotype that Colorado is filled with people who are constantly experiencing a “Rocky Mountain High”.

This is of course a generalization, but either way, we’re not judging.
