Whoever decided there should be a Washington State and a Washington DC should be fired. For true Washingtonians, they know what it’s like to constantly explain that the White House isn’t in their state, and no, they don’t know anyone who works in Congress.

Raiiiiiiiin. Washington is home to between 7 and 10 of the wettest places in the US.

So, while they don’t have connections with US lawmakers, they do know which rain boots will last you the longest, and how to enjoy life in constantly grey weather.
