South Dakota, like its northern sister, is totally an enigma. The one thing we do know about it is that it’s south of North Dakota, and slightly less cold.

Also, don’t plan on going there for vacation, because according to this street sign, even the locals know there’s nothing to do.

That may have been a bit exaggerated because South Dakota does have one very famous attraction, Mount Rushmore, which contrary to popular belief is not a naturally occurring phenomenon (it was made by men with dynamite).

This may be the defining factor in determining which of the two Dakotas is best.
