Contrary to what you might think, Rhode Island is neither a road nor an island. It is however the smallest state and it is commonly thought of as an extension of Long Island in New York.

Rhode Island has been immortalized by the hit animated comedy TV series Family Guy, however, Quahog is not an actual city in the state.

Rhode Islanders also have a strange obsession with their own kind of hot dog they call a Hot Weiner.

If you call Hot Weiners hot dogs you’re in for a scolding along the lines of “They are an entirely different thing! An entirely different and delicious thing”.
