13. Pennsylvania, Home Of The Amish

When people think of Pennsylvania they commonly think of the Amish. The Amish are a devout and closed community who live only in The Keystone State.

They are german speaking and don’t use any forms of electricity. Although they are nearly 270,000 strong, they are still a minority in Pennsylvania, where the majority of the inhabitants are regular electricity using folk.

Pennsylvania plays a huge role in the tale of American history as it was one of the original 13 colonies. Philadelphia, the city of brotherly love, houses the famous Liberty Bell and was the signing place of the Declaration of Independence.
