Michigan is a very interesting state. No doubt if you’ve ever asked a Michiganer where they are from, they attempted to show you by using their hands.

The two peninsulas located near the Canada U.S. border are surrounded by the great lakes.

Apparently the proximity to these huge bodies of water has a very strange effect on the climate in the state.
