Christmas Was so Much Better in the 80’s

Each year we can look forward to Christmas specials of our favorite shows, snuggling on the couch in our pajamas with a warm cup of cocoa. We watched the 1988 Pee-wee’s Playhouse: Christmas Special and it was nothing short of iconic.

Basically everyone was in it such as Cher, Little Richard, Oprah, Frankie Avalon, and about 20,000 fruitcakes.

There was also The Bob Hope Christmas Special, and basically if there’s a definitive American Christmas special, Bob Hope is responsible for it.

Claymation was especially popular like A Claymation Christmas Celebration, and of course the classic A Christmas Carol.
