Christmas Was so Much Better in the 80’s

Basically most of our Christmas shopping was always done in one place- Woolworths. That one-stop shop had just about everything and was the mecca of all awesome gifts. Sure there are tons of other stores that could probably do that too, but something about Woolworths specifically just game us that nostalgic, fuzzy feeling.

So when the news broke that it was closing the last remaining stores in 1997, our childhood dreams were crushed and a little piece of our hearts broke, not to be dramatic or anything.
