Christmas Was so Much Better in the 80’s

I can think of many reasons why Christmas decorations now are probably a lot better than the ones we used to have, but that’s just not what’s in my heart. The colorful foil decor of the past were massive and garish and looked as if they would set alight within seconds.

But at the same time, the sheer outrageousness of it just made it so much fun and we put so much love and effort into decorating. People nowadays do go all out with the Christmas lights on the outside of their houses, but the insides do look less exciting than they used to.
