The 1980’s were jam-packed with classic films that have stood the test of time- we still watch these nostalgic films when the days get longer and colder.

Long before Netflix, the 80’s boasted one TV per family with about three to four channels, so every single seasonal program, whether cheesy or not, was an event to bring every family member to the sofa.

None of those “on demand” options either- you just simply never missed it because that was your only chance. Nowadays barely anyone ever watches the same thing together, so we do miss the classic formation- parents on the couch, kids on the floor.
