Christmas Was so Much Better in the 80’s

As Christmas approaches, we have lots of things piling up on our minds and in our hearts. Holidays in general are incredibly nostalgic events, but there’s just something about Christmas that invites that lump to take its place in my throat.

When we think about all the Xmas rituals that we participated in as a kid, we get this warm fuzzy feeling because those rituals nowadays have taken a completely new form.

Nowadays people all over the internet claim that Christmas was more awesome in the 70’s and 80’s, there is even a song by The ‘Future Heads’ called “Christmas Was Better in The 80s”.

Let’s take a look at what we loved about Christmas as kids and why this might be true- do you agree?
